Our Philosophy

Caben is a Spanish word meaning to fit or accommodate. Caben Counseling was created based on experiential and empirical evidence repeatedly demonstrating that the key factor in determining the effectiveness of therapeutic intervention is the relationship between the client and therapist and whether that relationship is a “good fit” meaning that the client feels comfortable and respected enough by his or her therapist to talk freely and work together toward positive change.
